UC Berkeley School of Public Health
When the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health (SPH) decided to update their website, they faced several challenges. The new site needed to better communicate the school’s mission and value to its stakeholders. It also needed to be developed using the Drupal content management system (CMS) because of university requirements.
The school turned to Monarch Media because of our expertise with user interface design, site architecture, and open-source CMS like Drupal. Monarch’s team set up the Drupal site, created the graphic design, created custom components, integrated external databases, and migrated hundreds of pages of content. The resulting site has earned kudos from across the UC Berkeley campus, particularly from the Office of Public Affairs, the department responsible for UC Berkeley’s campus-wide branding. The site is the central public-facing tool the school uses to communicate with prospects, students, faculty, and the public health research community.
