Stanford GSB: Web Author Training
The IT department at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business planned to launch a new website (using Drupal), and they wanted a reliable and repeatable way to train dozens of staff on how to author and publish content. Some staff members were highly tech-savvy, while others were new to using a content management system. Other staff members were experts in the writing style and standards of the school, while others were brand new.
Monarch’s team worked with Stanford to analyze their curriculum, conduct a round of user input, and design an adaptive learning system that allows users to assess their knowledge, receive training targeted to their specific needs, and receive certification as web authors.
This self-service platform makes the most of staff time and frees up the IT department from having to train and retrain. Our team also developed the system to provide regular practice and feedback to support independent learning.
